Quick Brown Fox 05-11-2017

Another unwanted call from this invalid (spoofed) number arrived today, just 2 weeks since the last unwanted call on April 27. Once again, when the answering machine picked up, a female voice said "Hello" three times (with call center noise in the background), then hung up. Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) frequently spoof the numbers they're calling from to cover their tracks while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.

Posters have identified the caller as a scam solar energy contractor, of whom there are many (remember Solyndra?). Whether it's solar energy, credit cards, vacation giveaways, air duct cleaning, computer repairs, home improvements, or the IRS, a scam is a scam is a scam (with apologies to a famous 20th century poet).

DO NOT BE VICTIMIZED BY THESE TELECRIMINALS. LET YOUR ANSWERING MACHINE TAKE THEIR PATHETIC CALLS.
