I received a call stating that my sister has committed fraud in my state and she had until the end of the day before the state would put a warrant out for her arrest. I couldn't get any information as to what the fraud claim was for or what they were looking for. Can't fool me. This is insane.
Caller recorded a message. She claimed to be member of an unspecified economic fraud unit. I own no businesses, but I had supposedly committed economic fraud in "My state", which she did not specify.
She gave me an hour to call back. Government agencies don't work that way.
Some people may be fooled, since she spoke very clearly and authoritatively, although she mispronounced one key word.
