Another unwanted call from this Anaheim landline number arrived today, just 2 days since the previous unwanted call on Feb. 3. When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space. This is a favorite ploy of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who troll the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to rip off.
Several posters identify the caller as a police union seeking donations. According to www.whitepages.com the phone number is assigned to a specific named subscriber, and the website describes the number as "scam or fraud."
DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM OF THESE TELECRIMINALS. LET YOUR ANSWERING MACHINE TAKE THEIR PATHETIC CALLS.
